Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice is seeking a Senior Consultant, Data Engineering to design, build, and run data pipelines and conversion initiatives for government clients across the US Delivery Center. You will analyze data requirements, map sources to targets, and implement scalable data solutions that support mission outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering and data integration, strong SQL and Python, experience with ETL/ELT

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SQL and Python.
• 2+ years cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

In this role, you will contribute to the design, build, and execution of data engineering and conversion solutions for government clients. You will work across data migration, integration, and validation activities to help clients modernize platforms and scale their data capabilities within Deloitte's US Delivery Center model.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative field

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or data migration delivery
• 3+ years of experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python
• 2+ years of experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• 2+ years of experience performing data conversion, data mapping, transformation, and validation activities
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
• 1+ years of experience supporting government or public sector data programs
• Experience with extract, transform, load (ETL) or extract, load, transform (ELT) tools
• Experience working with Agile delivery methods
• Experience creating technical documentation, data mapping specifications, and test artifacts
