Job summary

TeamWorx Security is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and build applications, automation, and AI-enabled tools for a federal government client. You will replace manual processes with practical software to help teams plan work, manage requirements, and make decisions.

You will work directly with government stakeholders, define requirements, propose realistic options, and deliver working capability in short iterations while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 12+ years of software development experience.
• Demonstrated full-stack ability across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, and deployment.
• Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, SQL, and cloud integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing practices, and production troubleshooting.
• Ability to communicate with government stakeholders and explain trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications, automation, and integrations using Python, JavaScript, Google Apps Script, APIs, cloud services, and modern web frameworks.
• Move quickly between projects, teams, and business areas, delivering usable capability within short engagements.
• Work with government stakeholders to define requirements, iterate designs, and ensure operational fit.
• Build data-driven tools, dashboards, and interfaces, and integrate AI and automation where value is delivered.
• Deliver working software in short Agile sprints, including testing, UAT, production support, and modernization of tools.
• Ensure applications meet accessibility, security, and federal compliance requirements and document work for support and extension.
