Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC seeks a Senior Application Security Engineer to architect and build automated security layers within the SDLC, focusing on AI-enabled secure code scanning, hardened automation, and CI/CD security tooling integration in a large-scale financial services program.

You will work primarily in Python to develop runbooks, deploy scanners, and provide code-level remediation guidance with full autonomy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on Application Security and DevSecOps.
• Strong coding and architectural proficiency in Python for security automation and scripting.
• Fully autonomous execution capability with no daily supervision.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and golden images.
• Automate the development of secure coding patterns and integrate them with SDLC workflows.
• Architect the integration of SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines and tune them to reduce noise.
• Review complex Java/Python code to provide code-level remediation guidance.
