Job summary

BlockchainHQ is seeking a senior engineer to evaluate AI coding agents remotely. You will assess how agents think and respond in real-world scenarios, focusing on usefulness, preambles, and engineering judgment.

You will provide clear, opinionated feedback on what worked, what didn’t, and what felt off, without writing production code. Strong English communication is required for written feedback and Loom walkthroughs.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff or Principal-level engineer or equivalent experience.
• Strong background in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience with one of OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2 or above).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end.
• Judge usefulness, correctness, and alignment with strong engineering thinking.
• Assess quality of explanations and reasoning, not just code.
• Provide clear, opinionated feedback in writing and video where needed.
