Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Data Science and Analytics team. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable software solutions enabling analytics, data-driven decisions, and AI capabilities across the organization.

You will mentor engineers, lead enterprise architecture discussions, and drive cloud-based integrations with Azure and other platforms, while advancing best practices and system scalability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining enterprise software applications.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications and services.
• Lead architecture and design discussions for enterprise-level solutions.
• Develop secure, maintainable, and performant APIs and backend services.
• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, and version control.
