Job summary

Johnson Controls International seeks an AI Solution Architect to design and govern enterprise AI across generative AI, RAG, and agentic platforms. You will collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, security teams and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions.

The role emphasizes architecture governance, platform alignment, and leveraging Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI endpoints, and ML workflows within enterprise patterns. Hybrid work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with 8+ years of architect experience.
• Proven production Azure AI solutions in large enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, document intelligence or agent-based tooling.
• Ability to guide discovery through design, delivery and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and solution design for enterprise AI initiatives across domains.
• Translate business needs into end-to-end architectures, roadmaps and non-functional requirements.
• Define reference architectures, integration patterns, and architecture decisions.
• Design generative AI and agentic solutions using Azure AI services and vector stores.
• Collaborate with platform, security, data and product teams for production readiness.
