Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Software Engineer III with Agentic AI experience to join the AI & Engineering team in the United States. You will design and build AI-enabled, full-stack solutions for client engagements, integrating Claude models and tool orchestration to deliver scalable, reliable software across cloud platforms.

You will lead projects, collaborate with product managers and designers, and ensure production readiness through testing and on-call support.

Qualifications

• <p>6+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack focus.</p>
• <p>4+ years delivering AI/ML solutions.</p>
• <p>At least 1 year designing/implementing production agentic workflows.</p>
• <p>At least 1 year using Claude Agent SDK for orchestration and tools.</p>
• <p>At least 1 year deploying Anthropic Claude models in production.</p>
• <p>Experience with prompt engineering and context engineering.</p>
• <p>1+ years leading project workstreams or engagements.</p>
• <p>4+ years of full-stack development in Python/Java/.NET/Go/Node and React/Angular/Vue.</p>
• <p>4+ years client-facing development with REST/GraphQL APIs.</p>
• <p>Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Claude integrations.</p>

Responsibilities

• <p>Architect and implement scalable full-stack features across front-end and back-end systems.</p>
• <p>Design and operate RESTful and async APIs on cloud-native infra with CI/CD and IaC.</p>
• <p>Lead end-to-end delivery of complex features from requirements to deployment and monitoring.</p>
• <p>Integrate Claude AI and tool-calling workflows to deliver contextual features.</p>
• <p>Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to translate requirements into solutions.</p>
• <p>Troubleshoot, improve performance, write automated tests, and ensure production readiness.</p>
