Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Consultant, Software Engineer III, AI & Engineering, to design, build, and deliver full-stack software and AI-enabled solutions for client engagements in a production-focused environment.

You will architect scalable features, deploy cloud-native APIs, and lead end-to-end delivery while integrating Claude-based workflows and tool calls to enable autonomous agentic behavior. Collaboration across product, design, and engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering with full-stack focus.
• 4+ years delivering AI/ML solutions.
• At least 1 year designing/implementing agentic workflows (orchestration, tool integration, state management, guardrails, human-in-the-loop).
• At least 1 year developing production Claude agentic solutions and Claude SDK.
• 1 year of experience deploying Claude models in production settings.
• Experience with prompt/context engineering to improve AI solutions.
• Travel up to 50% on average; immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement scalable full-stack features across front-end and back-end systems.
• Design and operationalize RESTful and asynchronous APIs on cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP), with containerized workloads, CI/CD and IaC.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex features from requirements through deployment and monitoring.
• Integrate large language model platforms and generative AI APIs, including Anthropic Claude, for context-aware features.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering teams to translate requirements and estimate work.
• Troubleshoot defects, improve performance, write tests, and support production readiness including incident response.
