Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, build, and deliver full‑stack software and AI‑enabled solutions for client engagements in the AI & Engineering team. You will work on scalable features, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate production deployments.

You will integrate Claude and related AI capabilities, collaborate with product managers and engineers, and contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and production readiness activities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering with full-stack focus.
• 3+ years delivering AI/ML solutions.
• 6+ months hands-on Claude Agent SDK experience for agent orchestration.
• 6+ months deploying production using Anthropic Claude models.
• 6+ months applying prompt/context engineering to AI solutions.
• 3+ years full-stack development with Python/Java/.NET/Go/Node.js and React/Angular/Vue.
• 2+ years in a client-facing role with REST/GraphQL.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable full-stack features.
• Develop and support microservices, APIs, CI/CD, containers, and IaC.
• Integrate Claude AI features and tool workflows for client solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
• Troubleshoot defects, improve performance, write automated tests, and support on-call.
