Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join the Agentic WorkSpaces team in Seattle.

You will dive deep into complex technical problems, translate requirements into scalable systems, and help launch multi-region, cross-platform features that enable humans and AI agents to collaborate securely. You will mentor others, drive design and architecture, and partner with Bedrock, EC2, and other AWS teams to implement a unified agent architecture with

Qualifications

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

Translate business and functional requirements into concrete system deliverables.
Drive incremental system optimizations and raise the bar for operational excellence.
Build new 0→1 products for Agentic WorkSpaces with humans and agents.
Coordinate multi-region, multi-platform releases across Windows and Linux.
Partner with EC2, identity providers, and platform teams to leverage shared infrastructure.
