Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Development for WorkSpaces for AI Agents within the Applied AI Solutions organization. This role leads the engineering org responsible for secure, scalable AI agent-enabled desktop environments, partnering across teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

The candidate will own multi-year roadmaps, recruit and grow managers, and ensure delivery of complex, novel systems at scale while maintaining reliability and security for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
• 10+ years of software development experience and 5+ years managing software engineering teams.
• Experience managing managers or leading multi-team engineering organizations
• Experience owning delivery of distributed systems at scale, including security, reliability, and operational excellence
• Track record of delivering complex, ambiguous initiatives from concept through production in enterprise environments
• Experience hiring, developing, and retaining senior engineering talent

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the engineering organization and hire senior engineers.
• Own end-to-end delivery of the solution and roadmaps for W4A.
• Deliver governance layers and security models for enterprise use.
• Balance invention with operational rigor and scale.
• Drive cross-organizational execution with partner teams.
• Partner with product and science to turn vision into shipped capability.
