Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, build, and operate customer-facing capabilities across native and web clients for the Agentic WorkSpaces initiative.

You will own features end-to-end, from design through production, ensuring security, reliability, and scalable delivery in a large AWS environment. The role requires mentoring, leadership, and experience guiding architecture across complex systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate customer-facing capabilities across native and web clients.
• Own features from design through production, with a focus on security, reliability and performance.
