Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the team building and operating the Control Plane Services that provision, configure, and manage agentic WorkSpaces environments at scale for knowledge workers and automation agents.

You will shape technical direction, improve reliability and performance, hire and mentor engineers, and collaborate with product teams to deliver secure, high-velocity cloud solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
3+ years of engineering team management experience.
7+ years working directly within engineering teams.
3+ years designing or architecting scalable multi-tier web services.
8+ years leading definition and development of multi-tier web services.
Experience partnering with product/program management teams.

Responsibilities

Own and lead the Control Plane Services enabling provisioning and management of environments.
Raise engineering bar with design rigor, code quality, tests, and safe deployments.
Hire, grow, and retain engineers who scale with the business.
