Job summary

Akkio is hiring senior software engineers across backend, full stack, data, and infrastructure to build the systems behind customer-facing AI agents in production for the world's largest media agencies. You’ll own complex projects end-to-end and influence technical direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of solving hard technical problems.
• Experience deeply integrating AI coding into daily workflow; agents as a default building method, and ability to critique and verify outputs.
• Ownership mindset with ability to handle loosely defined or shifting requirements and still deliver.
• Experience building and debugging large-scale production systems.
• Strong background with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
• Bias to execution with high engineering standards and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own complex technical projects end-to-end, from ambiguous problem statement through architecture, build, deployment, and iteration in production
• Multiply your output with agentic coding and help raise the bar for how the whole team builds with agents
• Design systems that scale with our partner base while improving reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
• Implement security and compliance measures that protect sensitive partner data
• Set engineering standards for code quality and testing in an agent-assisted codebase, and mentor teammates on both
• Work directly with engineers, data scientists, and customer teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders as requirements evolve
