Netflix, Inc. is seeking a senior technical leader to own the technical direction of the Ads Serving Platform within the Ad Serving & Decisioning org.

You will drive architecture for low-latency, high-throughput systems and partner with multiple teams to meet uptime targets and SLAs. You will build a modular platform, optimize networking and I/O, and implement performance telemetry while maintaining operations resilience during traffic spikes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building distributed systems.
• Expertise in low-latency, high-throughput platforms.
• Strong concurrency and algorithmic design skills.
• Deep understanding of networking, I/O, and data partitioning.
• Experience with performance profiling and telemetry.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into extensible platform components.
• Proficiency with modern development tooling and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical direction of the ad-serving platform and ensure SLAs/SLOs.
• Architect a concurrent, high-throughput distributed platform.
• Profile, tune, and optimize networking and system layers.
• Design a modular platform with extensible entry points for components.
• Ensure operational resilience and graceful degradation during spikes.
