Job summary

Netflix seeks a seasoned engineer to join Ads Policy Infrastructure, delivering a full-stack role across policy modeling, evaluation, and the authoring interface. You will drive architectural direction, transform ambiguous policy needs into durable systems, and raise the engineering bar through clear communication and end-to-end ownership.

You will collaborate with Policy, Product, Design, and Operations, mentoring teammates while advancing platform capabilities and delivery velocity.

Qualifications

• Proficient in an OO language such as C++ or Java.
• Strong React/Typescript experience for frontend work.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Understanding UX and UI design principles.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Shape architecture and evolution of a shared policy model, management service, APIs, and evaluation platform.
• Build intuitive authoring workflows for complex policy rules.
• Design versioned contracts and integration patterns across the ads lifecycle.
• Develop explainability and observability capabilities with traces and metrics.
• Lead migrations from localized policy logic to shared platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with Policy, Product, Design, Operations, and engineering teams to deliver outcomes.
