Job summary

ServiceTrade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Accounting Integrations, to lead scalable integration architectures with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js. You will design REST APIs, webhooks, and AWS serverless workflows to sync data with external accounting platforms, mentor engineers, and ensure high performance and reliability.

You will own the implementation of high-volume integrations, drive quality through testing and documentation, and collaborate across teams to deliver reliable

Qualifications

Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
Experience building REST APIs and webhooks.
Experience with AWS serverless (Lambda, SQS, Step Functions).
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MongoDB/DocumentDB.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Responsibilities

Lead development, testing, and maintenance of scalable accounting integrations.
Diagnose and resolve complex issues; mentor junior engineers.
Design robust REST APIs and event-driven workflows.
Create documentation for code and processes for knowledge transfer.
Manage daily workload across multiple priorities.
