Job summary

ServiceTrade is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Accounting Integrations to build and maintain scalable integrations between our platform and external accounting systems. You will design robust REST APIs and event-driven AWS workflows, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high performance and reliability of critical integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with AWS (Lambda, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions).
• Design of robust Webhooks, REST APIs, OAuth/token flows.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB/DocumentDB.
• Ability to use AI coding tools to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, testing, and maintenance of scalable codebase for complex accounting integrations and other products as necessary.
• Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve critical issues, implementing preventative measures to guarantee accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with and mentor junior engineers, fostering best practices in advanced software engineering principles and techniques.
• Establish comprehensive documentation for code, and processes to enable seamless team collaboration and knowledge transfer.
• Manage daily workload effectively between many priorities.
