Join to apply for the Senior Software Engineer role at Harris Computer.

We are seeking experienced individuals in software development, design, and architecture to enhance our FDA-regulated healthcare software suite. As part of the team, you will design and implement new products and modules, and improve existing ones, focusing on customer requirements and quality assurance. We value clear communication and a positive workplace environment.

This remote role is open to candidates across the US, with a preference for East Coast applicants.

Responsibilities

1. Communicate with product managers to define requirements
2. Design and implement products with the Engineering team
3. Conduct requirements analysis
4. Create HTML front-end designs and documentation
5. Participate in design reviews
6. Estimate project timelines
7. Develop, test, and fix bugs
8. Develop related design documentation
9. Assist technical/support staff with technical materials
10. Work with the Software V & V Team Lead and testing team
11. Support customer requests and issues
12. Provide sales support as needed
13. Assist with clinical implementation as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Proven experience in developing complex software systems using OOD methodologies
• Excellent communication skills
• 7+ years of programming experience
• Experience with Python, C++, Linux/Windows
• Web technology experience (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, PHP) is a plus
• Database and SQL experience (PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Networking, Client-Server, and OS experience
• Familiarity with Mobility applications
• Strong documentation skills
• Experience in regulated industries preferred
• Ability to understand complex business concepts and translate into technical solutions
