Job summary

pro/source is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance and maintain enterprise HR/payroll software, translating business needs into technical designs. You will guide engineers on configuration best practices and help ensure platform stability across environments.

The role focuses on CRT updates, accrual policy changes, HRIS-driven configuration updates, payroll enhancements, and production support across SuccessFactors, UKG Pro WFM, and SAP Payroll.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with DevOps in Agile environments.
• Experience with multiple programming languages (Java, C++, C#).
• Experience with development platforms (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Pega, Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Configure payrolls, accrual profiles, and accrual policies in UKG Pro WFM.
• Manage and maintain cross-reference tables (CRTs).
• Support people imports and integration of demographic/payroll/approval data with HRIS systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex software issues, analyzing root causes and system impact.
• Provide enhancements, break-fixes, and production support for payroll systems.
• Design, develop, and test software components following established methodologies.
• Implement automated testing and integrate best practices within CI/CD pipelines.
• Guide other engineers on configuration tasks and platform stability.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to enhance and maintain enterprise HR/payroll software by translating business needs into technical designs. You'll provide strategic solutions to complex issues, guide other engineers on configuration best practices, and help ensure platform stability across environments.

You'll primarily support a project involving CRT updates, accrual policy changes, HRIS-driven configuration updates, payroll enhancements, and production support/break-fix activities across a system landscape spanning SuccessFactors, UKG Pro WFM, and SAP Payroll.

What You'll Do:

• Configure payrolls, accrual profiles, and accrual policies in UKG Pro WFM
• Manage and maintain cross-reference tables (CRTs)
• Support people imports and integration of demographic/payroll/approval data with HRIS systems
• Diagnose and resolve complex software issues, analyzing root causes and system impact
• Provide enhancements, break-fixes, and production support for payroll systems
• Design, develop, and test software components following established methodologies
• Implement automated testing and integrate best practices within CI/CD pipelines
• Guide other engineers on configuration tasks and platform stability

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience as a developer, programmer, or software engineer
• Experience with DevOps and Agile technology environments
• Experience with multiple programming languages (Java, C++, C#, Scala, etc.)
• Experience with development platforms (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, Pega, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Deep understanding of UKG Workforce Dimensions, including Timekeeping, Accruals, Absence, and Analytics modules
• Experience with Dell Boomi UKG integration platform

Nice to Have:

• SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll, or Employee Central Payroll experience
• Integration knowledge between UKG, SAP, and SuccessFactors
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
