Job summary

GroupA is seeking a Senior UKG Software Engineer to design and maintain UKG Workforce Dimensions solutions and related integrations. You will translate backlog items into technical designs and guide engineers in configuration tasks to keep the platform stable and usable.

The role requires deep UKG knowledge, strong SAP/S4 HCM/SuccessFactors familiarity, and hands-on cloud/DevOps tooling experience in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years as a developer, software engineer or similar role.
• Deep understanding of UKG Workforce Dimensions and related modules.
• Strong experience with SAP/S4 HCM and SuccessFactors is preferred.
• Experience configuring UKG Workforce Dimensions and complex business needs.
• Proficient with development platforms such as AWS/Azure and container tech.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality software deliverables using best practices.
• Determine technical feasibility and identify next steps for features.
• Design, configure, and customize UKG Workforce Dimensions solutions.
• Provide back-end support across UKG modules like Timekeeping, Accruals, Absence, Analytics.
• Develop and maintain integrations using platforms such as Dell Boomi.
• Troubleshoot integrations between UKG and SAP/SuccessFactors, etc.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver enhancements.
• Document configurations, integrations, and technical processes.

Overview

:The Senior UKG Software Engineer enhances and maintains software products by translating backlog items into technical designs that meet business needs, while determining the technical feasibility of features. Senior Software Engineers provide strategic solutions for issues, review technical design specifications, and ensure quality in development practices. Additionally, the Senior Software Engineer guides other engineers in configuration tasks to maintain platform stability and usability. By collaborating closely with Business Systems Analysts, Test/QA Engineers, and Product Managers, the Staff Software Engineer is instrumental in driving the achievement of key business objectives
