Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a HRIS Analyst in the Denver Tech Center area to maintain and optimize HR, payroll, timekeeping, recruiting, learning, and performance platforms. You will serve as a technical SME for system administration, configuration, testing, and ongoing support of the HR tech ecosystem, with strong UKG Pro experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 3–5 years of HRIS Analyst experience.
• UKG Pro experience essential.
• Experience supporting HR tech platforms in multi-system environments.
• Proficient with Cognos, Excel, and UKG reporting solutions.
• Experience with iCIMS and Dimensions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides HRIS support for implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance; participates in project management activities.
• Develops and maintains documentation for configurations, processes, testing, and implementations.
• Acts as system administrator for HR systems including security, access, and SOX reviews.
• Generates standard and ad hoc reports using Cognos, Excel, UKG reporting, and other SaaS tools.
• Troubleshoots issues across internal and external platforms and coordinates with stakeholders for solutions.
• Collaborates with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and vendors to support enhancements and upgrades.
• Leads system configuration meetings and documents project lifecycle.

Job Description

We are looking for a HRIS Analyst to join one of our partners in the Denver Tech Center area. This HRIS Analyst plays a key role in maintaining and optimizing the technology platforms that support our workforce, including HR, payroll, timekeeping, recruiting, learning, and performance management systems.

This position serves as a technical subject matter expert responsible for system administration, configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, testing, and ongoing support of our HR technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings strong UKG Pro and Workforce Management experience, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and operational teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

This position is based in Denver, Colorado and operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring regular in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

• Provides HRIS support for new implementations, enhancements, upgrades, maintenance, and ongoing system administration. Participates in project management activities including discovery, design, configuration, testing, implementation, documentation, communication planning, and end-user training support.
• Develops and maintains documentation for system configurations, processes, testing plans, and implementation activities.
• Serves as a system administrator for assigned HR systems, including management of system security, user access, and quarterly SOX user access reviews.
• Generates standard and ad hoc reports utilizing tools such as Cognos, Excel, UKG reporting solutions, and other SaaS reporting platforms.
• Troubleshoots system, reporting, interface, integration, and connectivity issues across internal and external platforms. Identifies root causes and partners with stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
• Collaborates with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, operational leaders, and external vendors to support system enhancements, configuration changes, upgrades, and new implementations.
• Leads and participates in system configuration meetings and provides project coordination and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Reviews system data and reporting outputs for accuracy and completeness. Maintains data integrity through routine audits, analysis, validation, and issue resolution.
• Supports recruiting, learning management, payroll, workforce management, and other HR technology platforms as assigned.
