Tire Rack is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help drive the next generation of our digital platform. In this fully remote role, you’ll develop microservices with Spring Boot and support modern web apps through a backend-for-frontend (BFF) architecture. You’ll collaborate with front-end developers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot
• Support frontend teams with BFF services and data aggregation
• Collaborate across teams to design and deliver solutions
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to architecture decisions
• Work in a collaborative, remote-first environment

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional application development
• 2+ years with Spring Boot and microservices (including data aggregation)
• Available 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time
• Self-motivated, dependable, and experienced in remote work
• Proven leadership within engineering teams or projects
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. – we are unable to sponsor employment visas at this time
