Job Description

The EDI Specialist Engineer would be responsible for the design, development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of Electronic

The EDI Specialist Engineer would be responsible for the design, development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of Electronic
Data Interchange (EDI) applications, integrations, and data exchange processes that support business operations. The position
leverages technologies such as GoAnywhere MFT, SQL Server, SSMS, EDI standards, automation tools, scripting languages, and
other development platforms to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions. The EDI Specialist Engineer partners with business
stakeholders, product owners, analysts, and engineering teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions that
improve operational efficiency and data integrity. This role is responsible for designing and developing EDI capabilities, enhancing
existing applications, and implementing automation to eliminate repetitive manual processes and improve throughput, quality, and
reliability. They will be an individual contributor on an agile team undertaking tasks like file error troubleshooting, testing, maintaining
and debugging new and current EDI applications. An ideal candidate for this position would proactively identify opportunities to
modernize and automate EDI processes while ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and organizational standards.
The incumbent is expected to communicate professionally with peers, supervisors, subordinates, vendors, customers, and
the public, and to be respectful and courteous in the conduct of this position.
