This individual will plan, develop, and implement the EDI operations and strategy roadmap for the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES: EDI SPECIALIST

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as business units, IT departments, vendors, and trading partners.
• Negotiate and support contracts and service level agreements with EDI service providers and vendors.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of EDI systems, applications, and integrations.
• Monitor and evaluate EDI system performance, availability, security, and compliance; initiate corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure EDI systems adhere to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve complex EDI issues and provide technical support and guidance to users.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of EDI systems and processes; recommend improvements and enhancements.
• Prepare and present reports on EDI system status, metrics, and outcomes.
• Partner with distribution leadership to develop and maximize cross-dock EDI solutions.
• Maintain ASN compliance with vendors.
• Stay updated on the latest EDI trends, technologies, and innovations; evaluate their applicability for the organization.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: EDI SPECIALIST

• 6+ years of experience in EDI systems development, implementation, and management.
• Extensive knowledge of EDI standards, formats, protocols, and technologies such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, AS2, FTP, VAN communication protocols.
• Experience with AS400 / iSeries and RPG development and data files.
• Knowledge of OpenText, TrustedLink, and BizManager.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: EDI SPECIALIST

• Experience with JDA MMS is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technologies.
