Job summary

TopRx seeks an experienced EDI Engineer to manage trading partner integrations, troubleshoot mappings, and support production EDI workflows. The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and independent work abilities in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle end-to-end partner implementations, develop EDI documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data exchange across systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with EDI and business applications.
• Expert level in EDI standards and formats (ANSI X12, 850, 855, 856, 810, 832, 844, 849).
• Experience with Boomi integration platform development and support.

Responsibilities

• Setup, configuration, and testing of EDI transactions with trading partners (e.g., 850, 810, 856).
• Monitor and troubleshoot mapping issues, transaction failures, and connectivity problems (AS2/FTP/SFTP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into EDI configurations.
• Manage trading partner implementations from requirements through testing, go-live and post-production support.
• Develop, maintain, and update EDI documentation including data mappings and protocols.
• Provide day-to-day support for EDI processes and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Conduct regular testing of EDI transactions with partners and vendors to ensure smooth integration.
• Maintain EDI software, tools, and systems, ensuring they are up-to-date.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EDI Engineer to join our team. As an EDI Engineer, you will manage implementations, troubleshooting, production support, and partner coordination in support of EDI systems, ensuring seamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Setup, configuration, and testing of EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 810, 856) between our company and external trading partners.
• Monitor and troubleshoot mapping issues, failed/missing transactions, connectivity issues, AS2/FTP/SFTP problems, data issues, retransmissions, and upstream/downstream system issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into EDI system configurations.
• Manage trading partner implementations from requirements gathering through testing, go-live, and post-production support.
• Develop, maintain and update EDI documentation, including data mappings, communication protocols, and technical specifications.
• Provide day-to-day support for EDI processes, ensuring timely processing and resolution of issues.
• Conduct regular testing of EDI transactions, working with business partners and vendors to ensure smooth integrations.
• Maintaining EDI software, tools, and systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
• Support EDI services with ad-hoc projects and system enhancements as required.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to take the initiative and work independently.
• Strong organizational skills including time management, planning, scheduling, and prioritization.
• 5+ years relevant experience with a solid understanding of EDI and business applications
• Boomi Platform experience including development/support of processes, maps, connectors, integrations, monitoring, testing, and deployment.
• Expert level skills with EDI standards and formats e.g., ANSI X12, 850, 855, 856, 810, 832, 844, and 849.
• Familiarity with data transmission protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP).
• Conversant with all phases of Project Life Cycle including Requirement gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing, Software quality standards and configuration management and change management and Quality procedures.
• Ability to read, build, & run SQL queries to aid with troubleshooting, validation, data analysis, and integration support.
• Prior experience interfacing and troubleshooting EDI with ERPs.
• Integration experience such as REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and web services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (not Required But Beneficial)

• Experience with ECS/Delta.
• Knowledge of scripting languages.
• Helpdesk Ticketing System

Salary Description

Range: $100K - $110K
