Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Industrial Systems Analytics group. The role focuses on designing and deploying cloud applications that leverage Generative AI, LLMs, and agentic workflows for industrial data analytics.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions, from design through deployment and optimization, while embracing modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a technology related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering.
• 3+ years with modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
• 3+ years with backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Spring Boot).
• 2+ years of Python and/or Java.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Vertex AI) or open-source models into apps.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deploy LLM-powered applications and RAG pipelines.
• Champion the use of AI tools to streamline software development, testing, and CI/CD.
• Translate business goals into technical requirements and test suites within Agile.
• Create technical design docs, architecture diagrams, and API specifications.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with security scanning and IAM.</br>Note: maintains high availability of analytical systems.
