PACCAR Technical Center in Mount Vernon, WA seeks a leader to manage software integration verification/validation in HIL labs and electrical testing, in lab and on-vehicle. You will guide validation engineers, engage with senior management, and shape department budgets.

Ideal candidate has a passion for leadership, process maintenance, and collaboration with other engineering teams across the organization.

Competenze

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant project/process management and leadership incl. direct supervisory experience.
• Experience leading and implementing quality initiatives.
• Effective communicator and collaborator in a multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Mansioni

• Lead teams responsible for verification/validation of vehicle/powertrain functions and electrical system performance.
• Set the direction for the team in alignment with PACCAR development and running business programs initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of current and emerging trends in automotive and heavy duty trucking technologies.
• Create and manage the department budget.
• Make hiring decisions.
• Present team’s work to senior managers.
• Evaluate existing processes for vehicle system updates and drive improvements to address gaps.
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects to improve vehicle validation speed and accuracy.
• Foster teamwork while ensuring ownership and commitment to product quality.
• Collaborate with PACCAR division and supplier teams to promote cross-division teamwork.
