Job summary

Jobtailor in New York, Town of Florida, seeks an experienced software developer to design, build, and maintain scalable solutions that deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will collaborate with senior engineers, product owners, and analysts to translate stories into robust designs and production-ready code using Java, Python, or Golang.

You're expected to meet SLAs with proper monitoring and alerting, and to pursue ongoing learning through the ODP team's opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Computer Science or Engineering discipline.
• 5 years of software development experience.
• Experience with Java EE and/or Golang.
• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Vertx, and GraphQL.
• Git proficiency.
• Ability to create unit, performance, and integration tests using jUnit, jMeter/k6, and Postman/Newman.
• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Couchbase, MongoDB, or Elastic.
• Knowledge of RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of HTTP.
• Linux/Unix basics.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Detail-oriented.
• Strong communicator.
