Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks a senior software engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular. You will translate complex requirements into scalable interfaces, build RESTful services and data interfaces, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle in a collaborative, agile environment.

Candidates must have active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a BS in a related field, 7+ years of experience, and strong DevOps

Job description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular
• Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into application designs, interfaces, and software solutions
• Develop and integrate web services, APIs, database interfaces, and distributed application components
• Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment
• Develop solutions utilizing JDBC, ODBC, and direct database interfaces
• Participate in Scrum / Agile development activities, peer reviews, testing, and quality assurance
• Support automated builds, testing, and deployments using Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and DevOps practices
• Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues within Linux-based environments
• Develop technical documentation, software designs, diagrams, and project status information
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, customers, and stakeholders to deliver mission-focused software solutions

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• 7+ years of relevant experience in software development, including developing and supporting enterprise web applications
