Job summary

The BIT, LLC located in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and implement secure software for the Aeronautical Navigation Office. Candidates should have TS clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level 2/3, and a strong background in C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python.

The role involves collaborating across teams, applying SAFe Agile practices, and contributing to secure, tested, and compliant codebases. Onsite with hybrid work options, and field offices in St.

Qualifications

• TS with ability to obtain SCI and Poly CI is required.
• DoD 8570 Certification Compliance (IAT Level 2/3) is required.
• BS degree with 12+ years of experience or MS with 10+ years; or a related doctorate.
• Familiar with System Engineering documentation (VDDs, diagrams).
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, RocketChat and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Managers, Chief Architect and development teams to design, develop, test and maintain software solutions.
• Follow SAFe Agile workflow including daily coordination, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Contribute to deployment activities, code reviews, and documentation of technical solutions to maintain secure, compliant baselines.
• Ensure system code coverage remains above 80% while supporting quality and performance improvements.
