Job summary

The BIT, LLC is seeking a Software Developer to support the design, development, and implementation of software solutions for the Aeronautical Navigation Office. The ideal candidate has a familiarity with and a baseline understanding of software development concepts, developing coding skills using different tools, and ambition towards future projects in support of the mission.

Program hours are 8am-4pm CST with core 10am-2pm; on-site 3-4 days a week with a hybrid WFH option contingent on program

Qualifications

BS degree or certification and 2–4 years of relevant experience.
TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI and Poly CI.
Familiar with SAFe Agile and software development lifecycle.
Experience with C#/Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and DevOps tools.
Ability to work in a team, communicate clearly, and follow security requirements.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Managers, and architecture teams to design and implement software solutions.
Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and ensure code quality and test coverage.
Contribute to deployment activities and maintain secure code baselines.
Support verification against User Story Acceptance Criteria and documentation.
Assist in planning, reviews, and integration of third-party open-source components.
