Nightwing CODEX is seeking a software full‑stack developer to support mission‑critical needs. You will analyze requirements, design and code new software, debug issues, and lead development teams as appropriate. Strong collaboration with stakeholders is essential in this hybrid role requiring TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities include implementing features, integrating systems, and writing documentation. The ideal candidate has extensive Java/JavaScript experience, cloud and container skills,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 20 years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, REST services, Spring, Mongo (or other databases), Tomcat, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, GitLab, and CI/CD.
• Must be able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and communicate technical work clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design, code, and modify software to add new features and maintain existing functionality.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Write and review software and system documentation.
• Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process in use.
