Job summary

Bailey Information Technology Consultants, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and implement software solutions for the Aeronautical Navigation Office. The role emphasizes secure coding, SAFe Agile practices, and collaboration with product owners, QA, and architecture teams to deliver mission-critical systems.

You will work across C#/Java/JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting, contributing to tests, code reviews, and deployment activities

Qualifications

Active TS clearance with SCI/Poly CI
DoD 8570 Certification Compliance (IAT Level 2/3)
BS or MS degree in a technical field or equivalent
12+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ with MS, or a Doctorate
Experience in SAFe Agile software development
Proficiency with C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting
Familiar with GitLab, JIRA/Confluence, and DevOps practices
Strong communication and team-collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Managers, and architects to design, develop, and maintain software
Participate in SAFe ceremonies and backlog refinement, planning, and reviews
Contribute to testing, troubleshooting, and code reviews to ensure quality
Maintain secure, agency-compliant codebases and above-80% test coverage
Support deployment activities and performance improvements
Assist and coordinate across remote/onsite teams for timely delivery
