The BIT, LLC in St. Louis is seeking an experienced Software Developer to design, develop, and implement software solutions for the Aeronautical Navigation Office. The role requires a TS clearance, DD8570 compliance, and a BS/MS degree with several years of software development experience.

The position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, agile practices, and deployment activities to deliver secure, scalable software aligned with mission objectives.

Qualifications

Strong software development experience across C# and Java, with front-end skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Knowledge of SAFe Agile workflows, backlog refinement, and Planning events.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and secure, compliant code baselines.
Experience in a service-oriented or cloud environment and related tooling.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Managers, the Chief Architect and development teams to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
Participate in SAFe Agile rituals: standups, planning, reviews, and retrospectives to support iterations.
Contribute to deployment activities and ensure code remains secure and agency compliant.
Enhance system code coverage and focus on software quality, performance, and continuous improvement.
