Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join a leader in the Information Technology space. This remote role focuses on end-to-end web app solutions with pragmatic architecture, reliability, and user-centered design.

You will own features from understanding to delivery, partnering with users, stakeholders, and engineers to translate business needs into high-quality software. You will apply AI development tools with strong technical judgment and a leadership mindset to elevate team

Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience, with 7+ preferred.
End-to-end ownership is expected across the lifecycle.
Fluency with AI development tools and coding agents is desirable.

Responsibilities

Own features from user understanding through design, delivery, and support.
Design and build full-stack web applications with pragmatic architecture.
Leverage AI tools for development while ensuring quality and reviews.
Engage in the full software development life cycle: analysis, implementation, testing, support.
Lead code reviews and mentor engineers to raise standards.
Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to understand context behind requests.
Set estimates and milestones balancing technical risks, deadlines, and costs.
Contribute to shaping the future roadmap of the engineering team.
