This full-time remote role in the US requires 5+ years of experience in Agile environments and expertise in Java Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. The role emphasizes building resilient data workflows, IaC automation with Terraform, and strong API capabilities.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of software development experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and web apps with Java, Spring Boot, Maven.
• Strong containerization/orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services and modern version control (GitLab).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug cloud-native microservices and web apps.
• Build cloud-based data workflows using AWS services (Glue, DynamoDB, DMS).
• Containerize apps with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes/Helm; IaC with Terraform.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and version control with Git.
• Monitor production with Elasticsearch and Grafana; troubleshoot issues.
