Job summary

Technology Consultants Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Java Application Developer to support a dynamic government client. You will design, develop, and implement Java applications within an Agile team, collaborating with stakeholders to meet evolving requirements.

Top candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of Java experience, including Spring/Spring Boot, SQL databases, and automated testing. Familiarity with Jira, CI/CD, cloud (AWS), Docker, and Kubernetes is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Experience supporting Java applications with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience in Agile environments using Jira.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain a suite of Java applications.
• Be an active member of an Agile development team, updating Jira tasks daily and contributing to continual improvement strategies.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in production and non-production systems.
• Learn new technical skills to meet the needs of the project and our customers.
