Job summary

Trilogy Innovations is seeking a Senior Backend Software Developer to join a fully remote team supporting a national federal modernization initiative. You will work with a distributed engineering group to migrate legacy systems to cloud-native microservices in AWS GovCloud and to operate large-scale production environments.

The role emphasizes security, reliability, and on-call responsiveness. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Java OOP, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures, plus experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of work experience or equivalent.
• Active Tier 3 Secret clearance.
• Experience with Agile frameworks and sprint planning.
• 5+ years with Java Object-Oriented Programming.
• 5+ years with Kubernetes and containers; automating deployment and management.
• Experience designing cloud-native architectures in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, create, and modify general applications software or specialized utilities.
• Migrate and modernize functionality from legacy systems into cloud-native microservices in AWS GovCloud.
• Participate in operation and support of an enterprise-scale production system with cross-team collaboration.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
• Design and optimize databases within application areas as part of a team.
• Apply CS, engineering, and mathematical analysis to solutions.
