Job summary

FrankCrum is seeking a Senior Software Developer to contribute to the mission by supporting and maintaining reporting-based software applications and .NET web applications in the PEO and Payroll space.

You will lead onshore and offshore teams, design, develop, and deploy software solutions, and ensure quality, security, and compliance across the platform. A strong background in .NET software development and REST/MVC is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of .NET/ASP.NET development experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and collaborates with a team of onshore and offshore developers and testers to design, build, validate and deploy software solutions.
• Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications.
• Identifies technologies, creates POCs, and participates in the entire SDLC process to deploy software solutions.
• Develops test strategies, test plans and test cases in partnership with developers and testers and participates in the validation of software solutions.
• Works closely with Production Support, Infrastructure and other DEV teams to support the software delivery process.
• Acts as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting and gives direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
• Leads work efforts, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to subordinate staff.
• Assures quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Participates in the updating and testing of the business continuation plan.

The Role You’ll Play to Create Success

We are happy to announce a full-time Senior S** oftware Developer**position filled with many exciting opportunities! In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the mission of FrankCrum by supporting and maintaining various reporting-based software applications and systems. The Attributes We Seek

Keys to success in this position include having knowledge of the SOLID design principles, N-tier and N-layered architecture, Git, GitHub, TFS, Azure DevOps, Azure services, Visual Studio and Active Director, as well as knowledge to a high degree of understanding in relational databases, multi-tier software architecture, use of meta data and catalogues, and web-based security.At least four (4) years of experience with .NET/ASP.NET development, as well as .NET Framework web application stack.A strong understanding of T-SQL, Microsoft SQL server, C#, JavaScript, MVC and REST is needed.Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is required.
