Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior frontend architect/engineer to lead web platform initiatives in the New York area. You will collaborate with stakeholders, architect scalable solutions, and mentor engineers while delivering high-quality React.js applications.

The role requires 7+ years in web tech, strong JavaScript/React.js, and experience with Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and CI/CD. You will drive best practices, write clear documentation, and help shape the technical roadmap.

Qualifications

Master's degree in computer science with 5+ years in web tech or Bachelor's with 7+ years in web tech.

Strong expertise in JavaScript (7+ years) and React.js (5+ years).

Proficiency in Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, package managers, debugging, and troubleshooting complex issues.
Preferred: Headless CMS, e-commerce, A/B testing, backend development, high-traffic websites, Content Delivery Network, cloud platforms, third-party frontend integrations, and data analytics

Requirements

Master's degree in computer science and 5+ years working at a company with a web technology stack and web standards, OR bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or equivalent degree and 7+ years working at a company with a web technology stack and web standards
