Job summary

PENTAX Medical, a HOYA Holdings division, is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Development in Montvale, NJ. You will lead and mentor multiple software teams, drive architecture decisions, and partner across Regulatory, Quality, Product Management, and Operations to deliver secure, scalable medical software.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a regulated environment, delivering enterprise-level solutions, maintaining lifecycle processes, and guiding teams of engineers to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience; 12+ years preferred.
• 6+ years of software engineering management with direct reports.
• Experience in FDA-regulated medical device or healthcare R&D environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction for complex software products.
• Lead multiple development teams and programs with accountability for scope, budget, quality.
• Involve in architecture, coding, design reviews, debugging, and code reviews.
• Drive full software development lifecycle from requirements to delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver compliant medical software.
