Job summary

One Call seeks a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to provide architectural depth and hands-on leadership in a legacy-heavy environment actively modernizing. You will guide engineers across .NET, SQL Server, WinForms/Web Forms, and modern .NET Core, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, and front-end stacks, without people management duties.

You'll collaborate with product, QA, design and other teams to translate complex requirements into executable plans, drive delivery, and elevate engineering practices

Qualifications

10+ years building enterprise .NET applications.
Experience modernizing large legacy .NET codebases.
Experience with healthcare, workers' compensation, or regulated domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own architecture and design discussions across multiple applications and services.
Provide hands-on guidance across .NET, SQL, and front-end stacks.
Translate complex requirements into executable technical plans and roadmaps.
Mentor engineers and promote CI/CD, testing, and observability.
