MapLarge is seeking a Lead Software Architect / Application Team Lead to drive architecture and system designs for complex web applications. The role combines leadership with hands-on coding, emphasizing high-performance, scalable software used by millions.

The position is 40% on-site at cleared TS/SCI facilities in Springfield, Chantilly, or Dulles, VA, and 60% remote. US work authorization is required, with DoD/Defense industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency as a full stack software developer.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• 2+ years experience as a team lead / lead architect.
• Proficient with web app and API development.
• TS/SCI Clearance
• DoD / Defense Industry Experience
