Job summary

MapLarge is seeking a Senior Software Architect / Full Stack Developer to lead architecture and system designs for complex web applications while staying hands-on with code. You will drive technical direction, ensure scalable, high-performance solutions, and mentor teams across product areas.

The role emphasizes full stack development, API design, and delivering robust software for millions of users. This position offers 100% remote work from contiguous US regions, with competitive compensation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
7+ years of relevant work experience.
Strong proficiency as a full stack software developer.
Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship required.
2+ years experience as a team lead / lead architect.
Proficient with web application and API development.

Responsibilities

Leading architecture and system designs for complex web applications.
Write high-quality, maintainable code for world-class software.
Lead and coordinate teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Design, develop, and support software including databases and interfaces.
Plan meetings and coordinate to meet business objectives and compliance standards.
Support testing and deployment of new products and features.
Participate in code reviews.
