Job summary

MapLarge seeks a Lead Software Architect / Application Team Lead to guide architecture and system designs for complex web applications, while still coding. Role is 40% on site in Colorado Springs, CO at a cleared TS/SCI facility and 60% remote.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software development, 2+ years as a team lead, full stack expertise, and DoD/Defense industry experience. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• 2+ years experience as a team lead / lead architect.
• Authorized to work in the United States; TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD / Defense Industry Experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading architecture and system designs both customer facing and internally.
• Passion for writing great code and building world class software products used by millions.
• Helping leading teams writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
• Design and Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
• Run planning meetings and coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
• Support test and deployment of new products and features
• Participate in code reviews
