Job summary

Absorb Software in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Developer to help lead development on our Data platform and API. You’ll join a collaborative team that’s passionate about supporting our customers by improving performance, architecture, scalability, and the integrations stack.

As a senior engineer, you’ll own complex features end to end, mentor other developers, and stay hands-on with code while guiding architectural decisions in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years on complex software projects with technical leadership.
• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Micro Services, and REST API design.
• Experience building data integration pipelines and service-to-service integrations.
• Hands-on with AWS and containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with AI models and modern architectures.
• Solid OOP, SOLID principles, and Test Driven Development.
• Experience with HTML/JS/TypeScript/React and Git-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical activities in an Agile environment, including estimation, sprints, reviews, and deployments.
• Own design and delivery of complex features across DMS platform and DMS API.
• Drive data integration pipelines and cloud infrastructure decisions.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues.
• Mentor peers, lead code reviews, and establish team standards for AI-assisted development.
• Develop automated tests and well-documented, clean code.
