Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to build and operate core platform capabilities for data applications at scale. You will drive secure access, provisioning, and reliability tooling across the data infrastructure.

You will develop integrations with internal systems, strengthen governance with RBAC and data masking, and advance the semantic layer roadmap. Remote-friendly role with a strong emphasis on collaboration and incident response.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data platform experience with cloud analytical data platforms.
• Experience designing data governance and access control patterns.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for building platform services.
• Experience with containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with semantic layer design or AI-ready data tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate core platform capabilities to enable data applications at scale.
• Develop integrations between the platform and internal systems.
• Strengthen data access and governance across analytical infrastructure.
• Automate toil and empower self-service for platform users.
• Improve observability, incident response, and runbooks.
