Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Software Analyst/Engineer to support space command and control systems. You will analyze C2BMC-G performance across space segments and collaborate with government and contractor teams onsite in Colorado Springs.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, scripting in Python and Bash, and presenting findings to senior leaders. Requires TS clearance eligibility and a strong C2BMC/space-defense background.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or related field with 8+ years of space system or missile defense analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 10+ years of space system or missile defense analysis experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance required to start; eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience operating in or analyzing command and control/battle management systems.
• Knowledge of interactions between space sensors, ground equipment, and on-orbit satellites.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and work in a multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop test analysis and data-collection plans to evaluate C2BMC-G capabilities and risks.
• Provide input to test design and execution to ensure data for mission thread analysis.
• Analyze data using Python, Bash, and validated tools.
• Create automation and data-parsing scripts; maintain analytical pipelines.
• Use JupyterLab to create notebooks and generate automated plots.
• Present high-quality analytical products to engineering teams and leadership.
