Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior-Level Test Engineer to support operational test events for space command and control systems, including TES, TEMP, and test campaigns. You will work with a compact team to plan, execute, and report tests across lab and field environments.

The role requires TS/SCI-eligible clearance, 10+ years in engineering (or 8+ with a MS, 13+ with AS), and strong DoD test experience. Onsite schedule is M-F, 8-5, in Huntsville, AL, with 10-20% travel.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• BS in engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience, or MS with 8+ years, or AS with 13+ years.
• Active Top Secret clearance required to start (TS/SCI possible).
• Experience with space/ missile defense systems and C2 systems preferred.
• Knowledge of DoDI 5000.02 and related DoD testing guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in development of Test and Evaluation products (TES, TEMP, test campaigns, reports).
• Design, execute and report test events/campaigns for operational effectiveness, survivability and suitability.
• Collaborate within a small team of test engineers, operations research analysts, tool developers and writers.
